Denise Boylan (she/they) is a creative writer and classical singer with a deep affection for Ben & Jerry’s dairy-free ice cream. After studying under comedic greats at Second City and iO in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles for screenwriting and worked on shows such as YOUNGER, MESSIAH, and SHANTARAM. Her writing has been featured in the Los Angeles Scripted Comedy Festival, as well as in her many group chats. Accomplishments include being a semifinalist for the Scriptapalooza TV contest, singing the national anthem at Gwinnett Stripers and Chicago Fire games, and keeping her coin plant alive. In her spare time you can find her cheering on the South Carolina women’s basketball team and learning to play mandolin (well, thinking about learning to play mandolin).
